Hello all,

i have 2 questions, if there might be now new possiblities with the new hoster / servers:

1. Would it be possible to setup clan tags for players, which are member of a clan and havent any clan tag, yet?

2. Would it be possible to fix the desync issues while game playing? If not would it be possible, if someone desyncs, that the other team get the win anyway?!

Cheers

This does not belong in support, as it doesn't contain a support question.

Moving it to Discussion.

Yes, it will be possible to add a clan tag to players.   I've set up an experimental clan database and am already adding my own clan tag to my nick name.   There is no interface for doing that so it will have to go in a to-do list, but it will be possible.

I doubt there is much we can do to stop desyncs.   We have not fully understood the way they are reported yet but I imagine that it is not possible to identify the cause of the desync (i.e. which player sent the faulty information) so it would be difficult to decide who should get the win.  I don't think that what you are suggesting is going to happen.
