about new layout, do I need a new one? I just made this one a few weeks ago, and I like it.
I plan on haveing interviews in a forum (have a subforum named "interviews" however I am working on the site first before starting with the forum.

You don't have to have a new one, but as i'm offering to make a nice pro layout you might want to use it. You can always change it, after it's done, to suit you.
Interviews would be best on the site. I like keeping sites and forums seperate if i can.

alright I'll keep interview on the site; I've recently learned how to make a faq type thingy and I can just do interviews like that...
