After hours of trying to play with friends i give up.

Problem:

1. Finding CNC Online - check

2. Downloading CNC Online - check

3. Installing CNC Online - Check

4. Register Account - check

5. Hooking CNC3 and KW - check (CNC Kane Ed.)

6. Patching both to suggested Patchlevel - check

7. Login with Account Date (Pos. 4) - check

8. Calling friends to play CNC3 or KW - check

9. Hosting a Game -check (Server starts and Game is visible for all )

10. Friends connected to Server - Check

11. Settings etc. - check

12. Cannot start Game cause of a white issue Symbol on black ground

The Game is unplayable andt there is no hint on whole revora how to fix it.

Maybe its not Win8x64 compatible. I dont know.

It is possible to connect to other Servers but Game cant be started.

I think it is a Bug in CNC Online or a mistake that there is no hint or help for

such a problem.

+ - I read all of the information here and NOTHING helped.

Can you provide a screenshot please?

"To know what question we may reasonably propose is in itself a strong evidence of sagacity or intelligence. For if a question be in itself incongruous and begs for uncalled-for answers, it holds, sometimes, besides embarrassing the proposer, the disadvantage to seduce the unguarded listener into giving absurd answers, and we are presented with the ridiculous spectacle of one (as the ancients said) milking the he-goat, and the other holding a sieve beneath."

Additional:

I tried the Port 16000 solution but it fails.

I tried to deactivate Firewalls but it fails.

I install PortFoward Network for information about the 16k Port but it was useless and - you guess it - it fails.

Port forwarding that single port does not work in KW.

For KW you need to forward this WHOLE RANGE:

UDP Ports: 8088-65535

The game can use that whole range to connect between players.   I suggest, if in doubt,  that you make your computer the DMZ on the network or forward everything there.

  • Port forward port 16000 to computer A, port 16001 to computer B.
  • In KW on computer A, configure the static port 16000.
  • In KW on computer B, configure the static port 16001.

I am having the same problem. I can get into lobbies and set up games, but i can't start a game due to connect. People say I have no connection. But, it shows I have perfect connections. I've seen adjust port numbers and stuff. But I have no idea how to do any of that. I'm new to the PC universe (which I like way more than the consoles) so a lot of this jargon is going right over my head.

Note: All this below might not work with RA3 at the moment.

Use Google and Wikipedia. You'll get the hang of it eventually.
Basically you will have to open a "hole" in your router's firewall so that other people can connect to you. In order to do that you need to tell the router which port (16000) it should open for which protocol (UDP) and where it should then send the data it receives (an internal IP address). Because by default those internal IP addresses can change every time you restart a computer, you will need to make sure your gaming PC always has the right IP address. Lastly you will need to tell the game which port you have opened so it can inform the other players to use that port when they try to connect.

So do  you'll have to do the following steps:
