Exactly :-) Dains Armor is slightly more complicated and ornamented!
In the Movie it is hardly visible because of the low light and the fact that the Soldiers are covered I dust and are dirty! :-) That is why a lot of people were led to believe that there is almost no difference between Erebor and Iron Hills Armor! :-)

You know what bothers me... There are TONS of reference for Erebor armor, like this pic, but almost nothing for Iron Hills? Frustrating...

While Erebot Armor has so much more Screens and Shots and Concept Arts!!And the most sad and ironic part is that Erebor Armor was supposed to be for Iron Hills

Well yes but still it is much less than Erebor!

To you perhaps. To me, not by far. And those are concepts, and not the final design in the movie. There are tons of material for Erebor, which is odd.
That lik is good, but they look like officers. More ornamentations and details as far as I can see..

Yet they give you enough detail on proportions and size, the design might slightly vary but you can always correct when looking at the actual movie, if you can't, then even any other viewer (most of the time) can't distinguish with exactity the design, therefore nobody can't complain the soldiers are X cause they can't know for sure and either can you.

Well there is slight difference between the Regular Sodliers and Ofiicers like Hair on the Helmet and the Gold Part sticking out in the mOvie there are only Gold Lines!

Hahaha I am somewhat perfectionist and I watch for every small detail just ask RoR,how obnoxious I can be But I hope it will be of some use to you Nazgul
And I agree with you! It is not fair nor logical for the Iron Hills,where we sad whole Army fully developed with Officers,cavalry,War Machines like- War Chariots and Iron Ballistas,Heavy Crossbows,Multiple Arrows Crossbow and like over all fully developed Army unlike Erebor wher we got just fe shots on few guards and one battalion at the Gates getting squashed by Smaug! I love the Erebor Armorss and their cool details and Armor but Iron Hills deserves just as much if not even more!

It will be possibel to choose the different type of dwarves? Iron hills, Erebor and Ered Luin? Or the all types will be in the same faction (dwarves)?

In SEE there will be only one dwarven faction: Erebor. That means Erebor is the main culture, but we will have Iron Hills too, just as the only elven faction; Lothlorien, will have both Lorien units as well as Rivendell and Mirkwood units even though Lothlorien is the main kingdom of the faction.
Head is as good as finished now and ready for retopology into low res.

I too think that mixing all those Elves is not so good idea!Lorien and Mirkwood I can understand even if they deserve to be separated,but Imladirs is much different and there live mainly remnants of the Noldors not Silvan Elves and etc!!Quite a big difference to me merged in one if you ask me!

I believe Naz will add them.Like he can give them variations in LUA
My suggestions:
Random textures for the helmets,faces and beards.
Helmets-Like some have marks from blades(To be like older,more veteran-ish ),some have golden lines instead of basic,some have silver etc.
Beards,and faces-colors of hair,beard and random faces.

I only disagree about the Helmets Gold lines ,all Soldiers Have them in the Movie and the Officers just have Different Crest above the Helmets! :-)
