I can't really decide of this, but I'll bet some of you have explored Windows 10. IDK what ratings the reviews are, but I can tell it's pretty much mixed by users and once again... overrated by top critics.

My number one concern regarding Windows 10 is how much tasking, logging and checking that Microsoft spies on your computer leaving your privacy impossible while on the Internet? The Chinese are against it which probably will explain why most of them didn't use Windows 10 (and even Windows 7) at all.... because they hate being spied upon.

Not really caring about being 'spied on', I rate it so-so, but only because it breaks some of our archaic, archaic modding applications (which isn't really Microsoft's fault). Apart from that, it's great.

Again with your overusage of the word "epic". It's a good OS, done.

You can deactivate most of the stuff it uses to "spy". They only use that data to give personalized ads and location-specific stuff, they're not NSA.

Meh.  They can spy on me.  I don't really care.  It has been pretty good so far.  I like it.

I wouldn't put it past Microsoft.  They did have that controversy with signing contracts with the US government to use data collected from people's Xbox 1 Kinects.  Either to catch terrorists, or to discover how stupid people behave when they play Gears of War.

Good OS, that's all. Surely better than W8 and W7. Worth to use it now.

Well, yes, *actual* spying. Which is not what Win10 does, at all.

Has anyone noticed that Windows 10 comes with 3D Builder?

Just a little playing around:

Seems functionally limited from a short session playing, but I suppose it's a start.

Yeah. Since it comes with Windows, I assume it's something pretty basic, but it could attract people to get into modeling and get a third-party one. Cool for users, but money would go away from MS?

BTW, pretty precise nope there, +1 for skills. :)

Epic Fail #1 for Windows 10: http://www.pcworld.c...t-in-costs.html

That kinda reminds me of free-to-play games without some content that needed to be paid as add-ons/DLC.

I don't see this as a fail. This happens with just about every piece of free software released by larger companies. And as the article said and is true, you don't HAVE to pay extra for a damn thing. It's not like you're missing half of the OS if you don't pay. Seems to me like you just have a disdain for Windows 10 because you feel like being stubborn and complaining about things that don't matter.

Yea, it's more of an optional fail.  The only fails I can come up with so far just involve the stupid names they have for things now.  Like "This PC" is the new "My Computer."  Was that really necessary to change and confuse me with?  And why the feck does my own start menu keep recommending Candy Crush to me???  No, no, no...  By this time, my lungs were aching for air.

And that 3D thing looks cool.  I might have to investigate it.

Apart from ads and separating Solitaire/Minesweeper from the OS itself, it doesn't tell me what's not free.

He loves bitching about things he doesn't even begin to understand, you'll get used to it.

I've had Win10 for a week now and didn't get this, am I missing something?

Not only to support what the others have said, but good god, man, stop saying 'epic fail'.

Everything is as bad as the Hindenburg crash to him.

And I think it's because I play Minesweeper, Wolf.  Every few times I played it, I had Candy Crush jump to the top of my Windows button applications.  I've cleaned up my Windows button last night, and it seems to have stopped that now.  Though, I should probably figure out how to uninstall it.  They made that process different too.  The control panel is slightly more hip than I'm used to, but it's manageable.

Psh. CCleaner is the best when it comes to uninstalling. It manages the installed programs much better than Windows ever did.
