Windows 10 / Origin Compatibility

Does anyone know if this works on Windows 10/Origin, my friend has it working on Windows 7/Origin but I can't seem to get it working, my problem occurs after clicking Play on the launcher, the command prompt appears, as per attached, and that's it.... nothing else happens.

In task manager I can see that 'Syringe Main Executable' and 'Main Exceutable for Yuri's Revenge' are shown running, but that's it - i have to manually close these tasks down after closing the stalled command prompt. I've attached all screenshots/logs that i think might help.

I've also tried an installation from The First Decade, this still had the exact same problem

I'm having the exact same issue, even the syringe log is the same.

Edit: Hey apparently windows defender was blocking it. I added an exception and it appears to be working.

(Forgot Windows defender comes with Win 10)
