BFME 2 ROTW run error (not Options.ini)

bfme2 rotwk bfme 2 rotwk error help solve forum random why run error

This means you're probably trying to run an old version of the 2.02 patch while also having the BFME2 1.07/1.08 patch enabled at the same time.

Go get RotWK 2.02 release 5.0.1, it doesn't have this issue.

And also, run RotWK as admin.
