Don't have BFME1 installed yet? Well, getting the game patched and ready just got a lot easier...
We've created an all-in-one patch installer, so once you've installed the game it's now really simple to get it up-to-date, extended widescreen zoom and server launcher included!
Supports multilanguage installations.

Great! Just what BFME1 needed (hope you'll update the T3AO site with it soon).
Just curious, how does it incorporate all patches for any language if it's smaller than any single patch file?

It downloads the required patches and installs them one after another.

it says i need to specify bfme1 main installation directory. what i do here?

Point the installer to the directory where you installed your game to.
Usually it is something like
C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\The Battle for Middle-earth (tm)

Point the installer to the directory where you installed your game to.
Usually it is something like
C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\The Battle for Middle-earth (tm)OK but how does one "point the installer" to that directory? reinstall the patch to that location? Just move it there?

During installation of the patches it asks you to pick a directory.

The ftp link should still work, if it doesn't (check your firewall isn't blocking it) just google for the patches and install them manually.

Install patch 1.03, then 1.05, then 1.06 manually, that should help.
Unfortunately I'm far away from home and don't have access to my files to update the download server.
