Hello all, I'm new to all this forum/support thing and I looked all over google but every suggestion was outdated and did not work. I have a love for these games and I've always wanted to have a massive battle in bfme 1 and was wondering if anyone was willing to help my good self in achieving more than default command points. Thanks all if you look at this! :D

Hi there,

you can have a look through our Mods, many of them come with an installer and actually change the command points.

See https://forums.revor...ased-bfme-mods/ and this (slightly outdated) https://forums.revor...a-list-of-mods/

However, you can also do it yourself if you are not afraid of reading a few tutorials: https://forums.revor...t-limit-bfme-1/

Note that you won't be able to play online against others that don't have the exact same modification.

For if a question be in itself incongruous and begs for uncalled-for answers, it holds, sometimes, besides embarrassing the proposer, the disadvantage to seduce the unguarded listener into giving absurd answers, and we are presented with the ridiculous spectacle of one (as the ancients said) milking the he-goat, and the other holding a sieve beneath."

I know this is unrelated to the topic, but I couldn't help but to ask if this http://www.thebfme.c...s-forshire.html Will the ''Something to rule all three games and bring in one'' Ever be a thing? It'd be awesome if so...

I went into the INI.big after backing up the original and changed the command points in the gamedata.ini and changed the command point values to a higher number and it didn't do anything so I went back and restored the backup.. In the first game if you do that it doesn't work and you need to edit the _patch.106 somethin and that works but there's nothing like that in bfme2 that I can see in the directory.

That depends on what patch you have installed. You just have to find that out and then the line where the values are at.

This is not the topic for your question, but please go to https://forums.revor...rwarding-guide/  (Step 2)

Ok I was able to figure it out, in the ini.big folder there's 2 sets of values for each skirmish mode 2 players, 3 players, 4 players, etc and the default ones were around 650 - 1000  And I had changed it to look like this 1000 - 12000 but in reality I needed to do 12000 instead of 1000... So it would look something like 12000 - 15000 and it worked after I did that. :D

Ryan if you want to edit the command points like I did back up ini.big after that open it up and find the data/ini/gamedata.ini then do ctrl+f and type in command till and keep doing it till you find the area that is similair to this ;;; COMMAND POINTS FOR SOLO PLAY AI ;;;

  GoodCommandPointsAI = 12000 15000
  EvilCommandPointsAI = 12000 15000

  ;;; COMMAND POINTS FOR MULTIPLAY ;;;
  GoodCommandPointsMP2 = 12000 15000 ; 2 players
  EvilCommandPointsMP2 = 12000 15000

  GoodCommandPointsMP3 = 12000 15000 ; 3 players
  EvilCommandPointsMP3 = 12000 15000

  GoodCommandPointsMP4 = 12000 15000 ; 4 players
  EvilCommandPointsMP4 = 12000 15000

  GoodCommandPointsMP5 = 12000 15000 ; 5 players
  EvilCommandPointsMP5 = 12000 15000

  GoodCommandPointsMP6 = 12000 15000 ; 6 players
  EvilCommandPointsMP6 = 12000 15000

  GoodCommandPointsMP7 = 12000 15000 ; 7 players
  EvilCommandPointsMP7 = 12000 15000

  GoodCommandPointsMP8 = 12000 15000 ; 8 players
  EvilCommandPointsMP8 = 12000 15000
The numbers will be different than what you see here but just change what you have to this and it should work don't edit anything else tho.
