BFME1 game speed and language

I'm starting this by thanking you for the great work around this game. Still one of my favorite RTS.

This mod has solved most of the problem running this game on win 10 and also manage some graphics issues that i had in the past.

Sadly i now have some other problem. Infact the in-game speed is somehow wrong. Everything is running very fast and all the unit's speed and animation are much faster than normal, this is buggin me out, hehe.

What can i do to set the game speed to normal? Even only in the campaign mode is fine.

 

 

Secondly I'll be glad if someone can explain me a way to set the game to italian. It's my mother language (as maybe you can see) and i'd like the game more that way.

When you first mounted the ISO while installing the game (if you've downloaded it from here instead of from Forshire), you had the option of choosing the setup language. If you wish, you can uninstall the game as it is now and install it again with the Italian language chosen.

HI, i have solved the strange speed problem but now my options.ini file is disappeared.

I've tried to make a new one but it doesn't seems to work, i'm stuck with a small resolution.

 

Someone can help? Ty

What does your options.ini contain at the moment?

i don't have a file option.ini and if i make one it dosn't seems to change anithing, lol

If you can start the game it will have created a new options.ini file. In there you can change the line

Resolution = 1920 1080

to the resolution of your monitor. If the line does not exist simply add it.

Ok i'm quite dumb. I reinsalled the game to run in italian and didn't noticed that now i have 2 game directory in appdata, lol.

The one in italian is working.

 

Last thing, the game still run a bit faster than i remember (probably 10 years ago my PC was bad, hehe).

Is the voice "TimesInGame = 2" nothing to do with this?

Patch 1.04 increased the overall gamespeed by a small amount, that's true. Best is to get used to it or play online, where the lag compensates the faster game .

Maybe the only downside of this hard work of developing, hehe.
