C&C 3 Kane's Wrath / Bad Ping / Different Game Version

Hi,

 

Like the title i got this problem with my game, i don't have any special / collection edition of the game and it is up to date at the 1.02 ver. 

I can see people in the lobby but i can't join their game and i noticed that i have bad ping on all of them (with the red antenna icon)

 

I've portforwarded the 16000 UDP port on my router too and setted it in game but nothing changed. Any suggestions?

OK, using port 16000 does not work in Kane's Wrath. You need to forward this whole range of UDP ports; 8088-65535 for UDP (not TCP). Please could you try that. If there is nobody else playing these games from your home network, it might be easier to set your computer as the DMZ (you need to google your modem to find out how to do that).

If the hosted games you see in the lobby are not greyed out, I expect that your connection is the problem, rather than a mismatch with your game version.

Nothing...i've tried with the new port range and setted my PC as the DMZ but nothing changed. Hosted games are grey with bad bing and i got always the version error message...

If you go Options > Settings from the main menu, what version is showing at the bottom left? It should show "Version 1.02", of course. If you really are patched to 1.02, running an unofficial patch could be causing the problem. Did you ever install anything like that (1.02+ or 1.03 patches, for example).
