Hi there,

I managed to add an "hobbit" fortress for my hobbit faction, and doing this i followed a tutorial called:

"New factions in BFME2, a tutorial by fingulfin, Part 2 Fortresses"

Well i done what he said and it works incredibly well, expect for one particoular: when i start a game with my faction the fortress does appear but get destroyed after few seconds.

If anyone has some tips it'll be amazing

i think that the problem is that the game doesn't recognises my fortress as an actual fortress, but as a general building, the point is that i don't know how to make my fortress behave like a normal fortress.

I'm not pro at this but in the image I see trees very close to the fortress, maybe wanna test it in an open area. Again I might be off on this but try uncommenting some of the geometry and see if its a collision issue. Best of luck bud  :thumbsuphappy:

Ok, i found the problem:

The problem is when the tut by fingulfin says:

Now, down to .BSE coding! First, put your .BIG into the main BFME II folder. MAKE SURE IT IS NOT CALLED INI!!! Now our modded changes will apply in the Worldbuilder (WB).

If i follow his words worldbuilder gives me this error:

here my directory folder and my big file:

Here also the error-script:

Spoiler

Hope really someone can help me

-Edit:

I'm sure the problem for wb is my ini file because when i remove it from the directory wb works well

-Edit 2:

Actually i forgot to say that now the fortress file in my first post is obsolete.I even created another new faction  :smile2ap:

Were you able to get this resolved? I basically just experienced your exact same problem (fortress destroys after a few seconds) for my Shire faction. I might make a new post about it.
