Just finished Dance of Blood, and I'd like to say thanks.

Wow, that was awesome! :thumbsupcool:  A complex initial layout, a plethora of options and defenses at your disposal, awesome music, and one objective: hold the line. I love a good defense mission.

I learned early on that you can't rely on your initial defenses, powerful as they may seem. You have to scramble the whole time. (Until the second half, but that was the easy part)

I can tell it took a while to craft. Thanks, Mentalmeisters. I still can't believe you do all this for free.  :thumbsuphappy:

Dance of Blood is quite easy tho. You just need some Elites and Grinders, as well as a lot of Archers and Gehennas

When compared to juggernaut it is the lesser of the two but mainly because it's alot easier. 2 masterminds and 5 adepts at each side is all you need to win even on mental difficulty, as the AI has no idea how to deal with mind control, it's what i did not like about this mission. It would have been a lot better if foxtrots went for your adepts instead of the silo but whatever. 1 way of making it alot more tense is trying to beat this mission without mind control though, same as beating juggernaut without wolfhounds or hammers. Then it becomes alot more hectic as unlike juggernaut you start right away with defending and with much less money, and since you can't use the grinder you have to be very conservative.

True, I can tell that it's not a hard mission for properly experienced players. But for a n00b like me, beating it at all felt pretty good. And I did it without using Libra or producing any Elites or Gehenna Platforms (but several Masterminds :D)

Archer spam, I think, Masterminds, and the starting Gehenna platforms, is mostly what kept me alive. And the base defenses.

Actually, a lot of things contributed. :p

Glad to see that you like this mission, and actually as you said this mission is quite easy with the help of mindcontrol, so I decide to let nuwa cannon and some units are immune to mindcontrol. Of course it has been removed before it released, but that's OK.

To make it more challenging, you can invent your own "sub-missions". For instance my such inventions are "defend the ore refinery at all costs" or destroy the enemy mcv before it deploys" or "destroy the enemy without using libra"
