Generals - trying to start an online game

I just found out about this community

I would like to start an online game what currently without any success.

 

 

I have installed GenTool and copied the map extender folder "window" to the ZH main folder, then I copied all the new maps to the maps folder at my documents under the ZH folder.

So my first problem is those new maps, I can't see them on the Skirmish map options...

 

My second problem is when I go to "Multiplayer" ==> "online" and I try to log in with the same user name and password as I have here,

I get a popup which says that my password is incorrect...

In Generals or Zero Hour you use your email address here to log in, not your user name. You are meant to use the server password you set, not your password for these forums. I don't know if they are the same or not but you won't get far unless you use your email address as your EA Account name when you log ino a game.

I tried to log in with my EA password and E-mail to ZH...

all of the above is related to ZH...

 

anyway it says the password is incorrect, which i tried several times and it is the password at the EA account.

 

by the way, i managed to see all the maps, i just noticed the "unofficial maps" button...

any ideas why i keep getting the wrong password trying to log in?

I cannot see your email address in the log from yesterday, so I suggest that you check that you are entering the right address at log in. Check your address by looking at your profile here.

it' the right E-mail address :(

Which game did you try to log into?    Do you have Gentool installed in both games?    Your IP address is not showing in the logs either.

Hi I'm also having a problem connecting and getting the message "could not connect to generals online". I was using it in 2015 but stopped until I reinstalled it today. I've installed gentools etc and tried the powershell command above and looked okay - What could I look at next? Many thanks

I have installed Gentool at ZH only, and i am tring to login with it.

i have changed the password at the EA website and still no success, same popup.
