Hello team,

I'm a huge fan of Age of the Ring mod and I have a strange love for RTS games manual (I have a collection).

I've started doing a Age of the Ring manual using your images from MODDB, but there are a lot of new units that don't have images like (goblin archers, gundabad archers, etc).

So what softwares do I need to render the 3d models with their textures ?

Can I do this project or it has licence problems ?

See the demonstration attached, be sure that it needs a lot of more work to be perfect.

Thanks

Hey, cool stuff.

Wouldn't it be better to use ingame screenshots? That way you wouldn't be at the mercy of the random angles we use for renders and would be able to get everything in a nice context.

Haha, yeah! If you wait for the AotR Worldbuilder update you can use a white terrain (in Misc) that I put in the game just for this. ;)

Hello Mathijs and MattTheLegoman.

I will try to use in game screenshots, do you recomend a good software? because screenshots captured by  fraps has low quality.

About in game worldbuilder, it will be a good tool to my project.

But can I keep doing this project or you guys are working on a similiar one ?

Thanks

Heya!
Just press the f12 button to capture a screen in BFME. They automatically go to your pictures folder.
And yes, sure, go on, we aren't working on it. We were probably going to eventually, but yours is cool for now. You're doing a good job!
