I wonder if there will be a video about the current meta, this should shed some light for some people about what is the latest strategy people are using.
Just the Basics: A Mental Omega tutorial series; Episode Five: The ENDLESS debate between CnC.

Great idea Medic. That will be Episode five where I will go in depth between the difference of Vanilla Yuri's revenge and Mental Omega. It will give me some opportunities to talk about the Meta.

You know I was playing a bit of RR mod and it did help me to recall how hard it can be to learn a new game especially when it comes to RTS games. There are so many things to learn about an elaborated Mod like mo.
I actually believe the mod is quite simple but its simplicity is behind a wall of information you need to overcome first.
Just the amount of units can be overwhelming let alone support powers and buildings... and in addition, the mod plays in a very different way than vanilla. I would even say people without RA2 experience have a better time learning MO because the RA2 knowledge you can use in MO is inferior to the amount of thing you need to forget.
So, maybe some comments about how to face MO can be useful for new players. My own bits of advice are the following:
1) Find a Sub-faction you enjoy playing. Fun is the best catalyzer for learning.
2) Play the game in your own way... this sounds like a bad idea but actually, that is how people find new strategies and counters.
3) Watch other people playing. Join a lobby and watch a few games. Also, watch youtube videos
3) Having problems against a Sub-faction? Try playing them... people will show you the counters.
4) If you want to practice is good to play against people just as good as you... but only playing better players will make you as good as them.

Hmmm, that's some good things to consider. Especially number three and the second number three. I'm going to do a compare and contrast video next for Vanilla Red Alert 2 vs Mental Omega, I haven't played much of RA2, but let's see how it goes.

Could you change the volume if you can so your voice would sound a bit more clear? It sounds a bit low in my opinion.

Nice tutorials
This probably doesn't come under 'basics', but if/when you get to it, maybe do a "What to do if..." video(s).

For some real criticism, some of the visuals in the video should be directly related to what you say. For example, your explanation on MO's firepower, speed and armor buffs; instead of showing just pure gameplay, that part of the video should show those buffs in-game.

I'd agree with BotRot tbh. Maybe you can look over to Spirit of the Law's videos about AoE2 when he explains mechanics, mathematics and stuff.

I’ll probably be covering those mechanics again with individual units, espically the status buffs.
Edit: actually now that I think about it I’ll do a information dump next episode just to practice visual AIDS
