Ah. I got the same issue. I think it may be an issue with my BFME2  files, as they are the only models that are textureless. So i guess i will reinstall that, and hope it works.

Hello.

I recently bought a copy of ROTWK online so that I could enjoy various mods made for it such as AOTR.

However, before I got version 2.01 and 2.02, I tested the game. All of the models from BFME2 are pink, as if there are no textures for them.

I got both patches and the same problem persists.

I then decided to get the Age Of the Ring mod, and it fixed most things.

However, any old models from BFME2 are still pink, such as most structures and powers. For instance, the Eye of Sauron power is just a transparent square that moves about.

My system is on Windows 10, but I have run the program in several compatibility settings

(win xp 1, 2 and 3, vista, and 95 and 98.) and added the options.ini.

I am also running in Admin mode.

If you have any pointers, that would be great.

I decided to merge all of the texture files from BFME2 with the files from ROTWK, using FINALBIG. If there are any warnings or suggestions they are accepted.

It sounds like a fautly installation. You can try reinstalling the game.

Yeah, I tried reinstalling it. It didn't work. I think I will just have to buy a new copy.

No no just follow the installation instructions in the pinned topic here in the subforum. Use the game files from there.

"To know what question we may reasonably propose is in itself a strong evidence of sagacity or intelligence. For if a question be in itself incongruous and begs for uncalled-for answers, it holds, sometimes, besides embarrassing the proposer, the disadvantage to seduce the unguarded listener into giving absurd answers, and we are presented with the ridiculous spectacle of one (as the ancients said) milking the he-goat, and the other holding a sieve beneath."
