kanes wrath/red alert connection issue

when i tried to go to kanes wrath online it said cannot connect to kanes wrath server please check your internet connection

 

and when i tried joining/hosting a game in red alert 3 it did not let me/others start the game

 

does anyone know how to fix it

Hi,

Please could you run the connection test in How to Report Issues and post the result in here.

With KW, could you also check that the IP address shown in Options->Settings->Network is an address on the network you use to connect to the internet (probably 192.168 or 10. something). If there is more than one address, select the other one. KW is prone to selecting the IP address of the wrong adaptor (usually the address provided by any Hamachi drivers). RA3 is better at that.

i just need the port forward port number like tcp or udp for kanes wrath because red alert works now because of port forwarding i just cant find kanes wrath port forwarding numbers

Port forwarding does not work well with KW. You would be better using a DMZ. Check the above first though.

I think you should try using a VPN. We have been recommending Windscribe as a free VPN and generally speaking people have had a lot of success with that. You get 10GB per month for free if you provide an email address and that should be enough for your playing needs.

windscribe or any of the vpns did not work
