exception in exception handler

Hey just wondering if someone can help me out with C&C tiberium wars and kane's wrath,

I've been getting the exception in exception handler error.

I have the ultimate collection from Origin and I am running Win 8.1 on Intel HD graphics and on an intel i3 core.

I have zero hour and generals running fine and have had tiberium running about a year ago but now i constantly get the error even after searching google and trying the compatibility and dirextx solutions.

If you are experiencing that error when you run without C&C:Online (which I expect you are), you are best taking it to Origin support because I certainly don't know what would give that error or have any sensible suggestions for fixing it whereas Origin will have a substantial knowledge base on errors like that.
