Hello Calegero,

there could be different reasons on why you get this message.

First and foremost I suggest that you open the C&C ZH Ports inside your router options.

The Ports that you need to open are the following:

  • TCP Ports: 80, 6667, 28910, 29900
  • UDP Ports: 4321, 27900

If that is done and it still won't work then I suggest to you that you should watch the following video since it provides all sorts of solutions for this problem.

Video: Click Here
(Keep in mind that it also provides help for Windows 7, 8 and 8.1)

I hope that you find the issue!

Have fun playing!

I am having the "unable to connect to other people" error when trying to play games online.

I watched the video and did everything I could do.

However, I am using an ISP where the ISP has wireless access points installed in the apartment building and all you do is connect to their wireless network and then select a plan to pay for the service. I do not have my own router in order to do all the router port changes.

My windows firewall and webroot firewall are set up to allow Generals ZH full access. There is no place that I know of to mess with ports in Webroot firewall or windows firewall? Am I wrong?

Any suggestions?
