BFME 2 Crash with no Error after install

Hey all,

I've been combing through the forums trying to find a fix for my current issue with BFME 2.

When I open the game a black box appears and loads and then after a few minutes it crashes with no error code.

I tried re installing and following all of the steps again to see if it was a corrupted file but still no luck. 

Wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction of a previous answer or already has the answer to the problem.

I have tried the BFME option.ini, and have inserted the game.dat into the installation files.

EDIT: I've had two other people install on different computers and they both are having the same issues despite troubleshooting.

It sounds like an options.ini error, are you sure you set it up properly? I can also se you have 1.09 in there, I suggest trying to re-install the game (with options.ini, maps folder and game.dat), install patch 1.06 then launch the game before installing 1.09.
