Hello, I'll try to exlain my issue clearly and in details
When I try to login, it says 'Could not connect to C&C Generals Zero Hour Online'
I'm on windows 10. To be honest I don't know the version of the game I'm using. It's not First Decade, Origin, Steam, Ultimate Collection, maybe 'normal' version.
"Failed to receive any pings from nntest.cnc-online.net:40000.
It appears your router and/or connection is not capable of NAT negotiation.
You will need to use port forwarding and possibly configure a static port"
I've already set my pc to static ip and forwarded the port 16000 (UDP protocol) on my router to my pc ip.
I don't know if it's relevan, but I'll mention this anyway: I can enter on games using gameranger, but it always shows this message "Port-Restricted Cone NAT Router", and the games have too much lag.
I've ran this command on powershell:
Test-NetConnection peerchat.server.cnc-online.net -port 6667
Here's the result:
ComputerName : peerchat.server.cnc-online.net
RemoteAddress : 185.17.144.132
RemotePort : 6667
InterfaceAlias : Wi-Fi
SourceAddress : 192.168.1.101
TcpTestSucceeded : True
I tried to disable firewall / antivirus.
I tried to enable DMZ on router
I tried forward these ports on router: 80, 4321, 6667, 27900, 28910, 29900, 29920
I tried to connect using wifi and cable
I tried to use a free vpn (not sure if I did this with the correct configurations, I know nothing about VPNs)
My internet connection is fine, I participate on video calls on zoom regularly and hardly notice any delay or connection problems. Watch movies on netflix.
I even installed League of Legends and World of Warships to check my connection, and I managed to play both titles online without connection problems and without lag. But honestly, I don't want to play these games, neither CSGO, Fortnite or any other. I want good old Zero Hour that was so relevant in my childhood.
Please, help me. Why can't I connect? How can I solve this problem?
I will consider paying for a VPN or any other service, if that's necessary.
Thank you very much
