CnC RA 3 Launcher Error

Hi folks,

i installed Red Alert 3 via Steam and downloaded CNC Online Launcher as described.

After i clicked "Hook Red Alert 3" in the launcher i tried to start the game.

After some time - aprox. 1 minute i'm getting a Steam Error: Application load error 5:0000065434

Following error message  appeared in CNCOnline.log:

I tried the suggested solutions in this forum - reinstalled the game, reinstalled the launcher.

I dont know what i should do next.

I need your help - do you have any suggestions?

Hey there.

I haven't played RA3 in a decade, and purchased it on steam to have a nostalgia trip with a friend.

However I have the same issue as you.

I tried to follow the resources found on this forum. The CNC Online launcher crashed when trying to boot RA3 from it. Fortunately that was resolved running combability mode (Windows XP SP3). Created a shortcut for the game to desktop and hooked the game from the CDC launcher.

I get an application error from steam (same error code as you mentioned), but the game still boots and runs the "vanilla" version.

Crossing my fingers for any updates on this!
