when putting in my details on the comlink it says 'attempting to sign into gamespy' but ends up coming up with 'could not connect to backend server', same happens when i put in no details and i dont know what i should do

Are you using cnc online, your cnc online account and are you launching the game through cnc online?

i cant download cnc online. what should i do?
first of all would it be nice if you can make your own post for it next time so it is easier to us to manage it.
but you can try using an incognito tab or a different browser
