I'm sorry to say that the release of Defcon will be delayed until at least Monday the 19th. They say it better be good if it's late, and this will be. I'm going to use the extra few days to finish some last minute models, get all the bugs corrected, and patch a few gameplay flaws found in the beta. It will also provide more time for Mithril to work on the AI, and make it much more playable, and also much improved. Also, today is my birthday, so I'm going to be hard pressed to get much done, and the final version needed to be ready tomorrow for mirroring. Check back over the next few days to find out the final firm release date.

Well, when it comes to writing an expository essay about counter-insurgent tactics, I'm of the old school. First you tell them how you're going to kill them. Then you kill them. Then you tell them how you just killed them.

Good, that gives me time. I'll do what I can. It should be at least as efficient as the original AI but I'm putting in some stuff that I've been thinking about lately.

Heh. I would be working on this right now, but my desktop is in pieces on the floor, and Generals is refusing to run. I hope that the new case I bought sorts things. If not, be prepared for a possible longer delay as I sort my computing problems.
