If you have any problems with GenCameoMapper v2, please post them here.

Well, when it comes to writing an expository essay about counter-insurgent tactics, I'm of the old school. First you tell them how you're going to kill them. Then you kill them. Then you tell them how you just killed them.

Yeah, I have a problem...
I will won't launch on my com...
It's that flaw you describe in your release "say yes to this" text.
There you state, that if this problem occurs, I'll need a bigger download.
I'm the kind of modder who wants to understand it all...
So please:

Why do some need this?

Where do I obtain it?

Download the installer version of GenCameoMapper v1, and then download GenCameoMapper2 and you should be fine.

Thanks, that worked, and is going in my tutorial!
Next problem... (sadly there is a next)...
Here's what I do:

1: Create a tga "picture_L" (122x98) and tga "picture" (62x50) in Paintshop pro.
2: Map their coordinates using the cameo mapper 2.
3: edit>complete entry. names = "picture_L" and "picture"
4: save as... "anything.INI" to create .ini files. (figured this can always be renamed)
5:place the tga files in Art\textures

asuming these steps are correct, where do Í place the new .INI files?
Are the entries pasted to another file like SAUserInterface512.INI,
or is that only for "regular" Generals?

Thank you in advance,
NOP (google my ZH map "NOP - The Iron Ring" - for a taste of things to come.)

Place the generated INI file in your Data\INI\Mapped_Images\TextureSize512\ Directory.

Any chance of adding JPG, JPEG, and PNG formats to Cameo Mapper?

Maybe. I use TGA as that is all that Generals/ZH supported. I'll have to see about how easy adding JPEG is. I'm not sure if VB natively supports PNG or not though.

The downloads have been through a lot. I apparently didn't fix that when we made some changes around here. I'll try to sort it soon.
