i was just wondering are there any sword fighting games that dont have magical stuff in them and is from a Firstperson??

There wont be any magical stuff in-game because DoC is based on realism. And as for first and thrid person you will be able to choose both, dpending on what you prefer.

that is my dream game, and no there isnt sadly. But thats why we're making DoC

LOL! Suprising to hear you talk about that idea, I wanted a non fantasy sword fighting game in first person myself!....

hehe, the only games that ressembles what you mentioned is probably Dynasty warriors (but its too arcadish, takes place in feudal japan, and only third person)
Then there is kessen (which is more like total war style games but you can actually enter the battle as a general and fight against the enemy troops with your own. Although the game also has magic powers which is kind of a blow off and you can only fight in third person. Fighting system sux too)
And last we have enclave (takes place in a medieval world and you can fight in views such as 3rd and 1st person. But this game is definatly fantasy....orcs, undead, elves, humans, deamons, gnomes and magic. And most of the time you are fighting byyourself so that was a big let down)
No worries though, youll have your taste in DoC

Kinda Left out the Lower end game Theif, thats a good non fantasy based game. i donno about how the epics that follow tho, it was 1st person sword swingin and arrow popin. i thought it was a good game ^^
