How do you make a texture transparent in renx? I tried giving it 0.5 opacity, but that didn't seem to work...

EDIT: Never mind :p

use additive or alpha blending... I've never dealt with the opacity stuff (except for in images in photoshop.

Hey DJRowley how exactly did you do it? I've been trying to model a railing for a building, and can't get the centre of it to be transparent. Could you write a little tutorial on how exactly you did it.

Ok, I know im reviving an old thread... But, the link here is no longer valid, and Im in need of a good tut for skinning items, Most notibly, windows, making them transparent, and being able to keep them that way when I export in .W3D. Yes I searched, I found some help, but not what I need for the windows part of my skinning..

Thanks for any help, and Long live the Generals Modding community...

Well, when it comes to writing an expository essay about counter-insurgent tactics, I'm of the old school. First you tell them how you're going to kill them. Then you kill them. Then you tell them how you just killed them.
