i find it very frustrating when i have to click on my buildings (warfact. barracks etc) to build units, resulting in frequent switching screens and i can't focus on attack and build at the same time. i was wondering if i could create keyboard shortcuts for them, just like we do for grouping units.
anyone did this before/knows how to do this?

You can hotkey buildings with the same group shortcuts you use for units. Otherwise, I don't know of a hotkey to select built buildings.
