If you have GMail, you should not have to worry about sp[a]m. I slap my e-mail address up everywhere and Google filters out very bit of spam. Appart from the odd Russain e-mail. Who knows, that may not be spam, but i can't read Russain :p

Google Talk is pointless when you have MSNM. I used to use Yahoo Messenger too, but I've streamlined. If you want to talk to me, and you don't have MSNM, tough. Email me.

Don't PM me over forum if you can help it. If I'm at college, I can't read them. And by the time I get home, I've forgotten I got a PM, and so it'll end up getting inadvertently ignored.

Moral of story: http://messenger.msn.com Use this.

http://gaim.sourceforge.net/
It even lets you use Google Talk without using Google Talk, something that Trillian requires you to pay for.

Well, when it comes to writing an expository essay about counter-insurgent tactics, I'm of the old school. First you tell them how you're going to kill them. Then you kill them. Then you tell them how you just killed them.

Could you tell me how I can install that on my RedHat Linux system with Fedora Core 3?
The site says: Gaim 1.5.0 (Fedora Core 3) Please obtain from a Fedora Core mirror. However on that link it seems only the core itself is there, not GAIM.

ftp://ftp.linux.ncsu.edu/pub/fedora/linux/extras/3/i386/
Try checking out those? They appear to be RPMS, and GAIM is listed in there. If you go up one level there's also a SRPMS directory, which might be source RPM's, but I'm not sure. The same should be possible with other mirrors. Just go up lone level from the link from the Fedora site, and see what you get.
