Odd solution...I run my .exe off the desktop and it works fine. I don't even have my YR installed on the C drive =/
I would have suggested making sure YR was patched up to 1.01 and that there are no other mods installed.
But if moving to RA2 folder works...

make sure you have patched the YR to 1.001..a pure fresh install of YR will not do!!!
