No they haven't, several people have been paralyzed for life though.

And I never said rugby wasn't brutul, it just can't be compared to football in terms of hits.

I still say rugby is a sport played by people too stupid to get pads. Hey guys, let's go prove how macho we are by beating each other up for no purpose. And for fun, let's try to kill each other while we're at it. I say football is a much more interesting sport. Especially since it actually has some rules.

Well, when it comes to writing an expository essay about counter-insurgent tactics, I'm of the old school. First you tell them how you're going to kill them. Then you kill them. Then you tell them how you just killed them.

Kittens fight each other in training for hunting. It's evolved into them.
Me and my brother fight. I bet this was evolved into us, to keep our genetic family alive.
When you get older you can't fight with brothers any more, so where does that in-build urge go? Rugby (or some other sport).

I just watch it for the advertisements. They're fun.

I never really understood the whole football thing either. Maybe something like how some immigrant's names were messed up because the person writing their name down didnt understand a word they were saying.

lol, everybody I've gotten into this argument into I've proven wrong. Football is as tough if not tougher than rugby. While there is no padding in rugby, all they do is just throw people to the ground, they never actually hit anyone. Football is full on, full speed, crunching hits. There may be pads, but it balances out because the players are stronger, generally faster, and they hit harder.
