i am making the model for the Mouth Of Sauron basing myself on the WitchKing
i have touched up the shape of the head and the throat according to this picture :

i also of course did a new skin for the head
but now, i want to add spikes on the helmet like you can see on the picture above.
i therefore created polygons in the shape of it but i was wondering if you could attach them because once i wanted to remove a f*cked one, a message popped saying "are you sure you want to remove all selected polygons" (or smthg like this, not sure) so i cliked yes :huh:
and then, all my newly created polygons were removed (hopefully, ctrl+z saved the day :grin:)
anyone knows what i am missing here ?

uh, you want to attach polygons, to the helmet mesh?

just model the spike, select

Convert to -> Editible Mesh

then there should be Attach to Mesh in the tab called "Edit Geometry"

just be sure to do that from the original mesh to teh new one

aka attach the spike to the helmet not the way around .)

Then you best select "vertex" selection and move the atached mesh around

actually i have not the slightest clue what u mean :grin: but deleting shouldnt be happening while attaching :huh:

There is actually an easier way to attach parts together. Once it is done though, I don't think you can get them apart. Anyways, click a part of your model and under the Modify tab in Renx, you should see Attach List under the Edit Geometry section. Click it and choose the parts you want attached together. If you choose a part of your model, such as a plane or line, and you don't see the Attach List button, you should select another part of you model.

This might be what eRe4s3r was talking about, but I could understand it.
