Alright, I've used Elrond's model to create 3 new heroes. However, each of those three has shown the same problem:
You'll notice that on all three there is a chunk of hair mesh missing on the left side. Here's a before and after shot in RenX:
You'll also notice that this doesn't happen in Elrond's own EA model:
Now, I don't think this is a problem with the binding because this is in their standard state (no animations). Other than that I haven't the slightest clue as to what's causing this. Has anyone seen anything similar before and knows how to deal with it?

you have to use the unrwap UVW modifier when the mesh is selected. then select that 'face' and do planar map.. then you can move it to wherever you want.. hope that helps.
(as a side note thats off topic, wheni went to install your mod on my friends computer (he's thick ) i noticed it was.. a jumble.. so i made it all into one .big file, with a custom asset.dat file... this means that you can now run the mod with just the -mod command, no file switching necessary. If you want it, ill try and get him to send me it over MSN messenger, and ill put it on yousendit. oh, i had to move the new gamedata.ini things to weapon.ini, and i renamed gamedata.ini to aaaa.ini (dont ask).. well just thought you might want it )

its not that, i have noticed this too, the vertices have messd up, what i did to fix it was to delete the bad half of the hair and then mirror the object and delete all of the mirored object except the bit of hair to fill in the gap, then attach the original to the new section of hair and weld the vertices on the joins.

Thank you both. I'll try halbarad's first because it sounds easier .
EDIT: Oh, and nick: don't worry about sending me the stuff. I already knew it was all a mess (I just threw it together for him lol). I'll tidy everything up for the next release.
EDIT2: You know what I just realised this all means... MORE BINDING!!! HOORAY!!!!!!!!1111111oneoneone
