ARGUMENT FROM CREATION, a.k.a. ARGUMENT FROM PERSONAL INCREDULITY (I)
(1) If evolution is false, then creationism is true, and therefore God exists.
(2) Evolution can't be true, since I lack the mental capacity to understand it; moreover, to accept its truth would cause me to be uncomfortable.
(3) Therefore, God exists.

Dream Theater (hell even my teachers listen to Dream Theater, its the Kickass with a capital K)
Pain of Salvation (swedish prog-metal/rock akin to dream theather, the latest album, Be, is the one i listen mostly to)
kamelot (good stuff)
SOAD (since my little brother started listening to these i don't listen too much to them, but the latest two albums are great party-albums)
Sonata Arctica (got some nice songs, quite heavy on the drums...)
alot of others i've gone tired of, like nightwish and within temptation and evanescence and metallica and so on and so forth.
right now im listening a bit to "Ayreon - the human Equation", which is a concept album where we got people like Mikael Åkerfeldt (Opeth), James LaBrie (Dream Theater, Mullmuzzler) and a ton of other famous people singing in different roles.
i have to find a poll somewhere which finds out what kind of music style people like. i believe that most in this forum would hit the same spot though

edit: goths aint chavs, they are more likely to be successful than any other group [link]. Also on the topic of goth under wikipedia it says "Gothic music encompasses a number of different styles. Common to all is a tendency towards a “dark” sound.". which was my biggest point in pointing out the gothic stuff. white maskara and boots with alot of straps is not compulsory to listen to "gothic" music imo.
