Revora is already divided, we're just waiting for everyone to realise it. Something IS going to happen sooner or later, as more and more people get fed up with the current situation. If 1 network leader, 2 admins and 2 staff form their own network to make up for Revora's disabilities, what does that say about the integrity and stability of Revora as a whole?

That some people are unhappy? We can't please everyone, and if people don't communicate it doesn't help any.

Well, when it comes to writing an expository essay about counter-insurgent tactics, I'm of the old school. First you tell them how you're going to kill them. Then you kill them. Then you tell them how you just killed them.

Well, well, well... the whiniest network leaders (Hybrid) and the dumbest staff member ever (ali) made a new forum. Surprise, surprise.
Now I know why Hybrid asked me if vB was any good. Wow, this is really remarkably stupid. I knew the two of them were unhappy but a competing forum is so incredibly childish. As if there weren't enough issues floating about, they just had to go and add this to the mix.

Hey, Hyb and Ali, grow the fuck up... childish pricks.

I'll join the Forge Forums. I'll check it out from time to time if it gets any members, but I'm not about to give up on the revora forums.

Agreed. This whole issue is retarded.

It could be better. It all depends on if you can get people to join and the quality of those people. You shouldn't look at this as a competing foum. Everyone here should just sign up and if you don't like it, then don't log onto it. Give it a chance and maybe you will like.

If people want to join, they can feel free to. They will not face any reaction for having done so.

I also registered for this forum earlier today, but I believe my account was de-activated following the creation of this topic. Its a shame really, though I doubt much sleep will be lost.

As has been stated with Immo in a private conversation, if suggestions to change Revora are made, we as network leaders should not be expected to argue and come up with reasons for the way that things are currently put together.
Rather, the person with the suggestion should aim at swaying our opinion in order to get us to make the changes.

If when the first argument regarding guest posting was made, people went away and came up with new better reasons to turn it off, then it might well be off.
In reality, Immo, among others, repeatedly revisited the same topic, with the same complaint, the same suggestion and the same arguments, yet they fail to see why we're not changing our policy!

You may not have been deactivated cause you might be having the same problem I am having. I signed up but it won't let me on.

Fightingphantom, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Wow. I had no idea there was so much tension between members here. While it is good to voice your opinions, the way that they have been voiced is totally immature. I'm really suprised that so many people here can be so immature. Especially Dan and Immo, who I thought at least had the sense to work something like this out in private. Apparently I thought wrong. You all should really learn how to conduct yourselves, especially since you both hold network leader positions. Just a suggestion, either grow up, or step down from your positions. There isn't a communitly in the world that needs to deal with this stupid shit.

They don't ignore us. As I understand it, they first look at our argument, try to see its good and bad sides, perhaps discuss it with other leaders, before finally dismissing the idea no matter what it is.

Especially Dan and Immo, who I thought at least had the sense to work something like this out in private.

We tried to, but in the end Dancam just couldn't get over feeling superior.

You all should really learn how to conduct yourselves, especially since you both hold network leader positions.

Wrong. He is a Network Leader, and all the rest of us are insignificant peasants whose whole purpose is to serve them.

No, we dismiss ideas that we don't feel have enough merit to push through.

You all should really learn how to conduct yourselves, especially since you both hold network leader positions.

Wrong. He is a Network Leader, and all the rest of us are insignificant peasants whose whole purpose is to serve them.

Your feedback is still heard, and you still have power to do certain things. Broad sweeping changes are decided at the leader level, and we take care of a lot of things.

Guest posting isn't disabled.

That was me testing things.

So basically, every issue doesn't have enough merit to push through?

That's pretty fucked up from my point of view.

What issues? Guest posting has been raised several times and every time has had more benefits than negatives. Music is still under debate, and it will depend on what happens with RCAlert. Pretty much everything else is a technical issue (just looking at the recent posts in feedback).

There are more benefits according to YOU maybe. But why does that little bunch of 5 people get to ignore/overrule everyone else? I want to be seen as an equal here, not as someone who has to drag himself through the mud in an attempt to show that a problem actually needs solving, only to have it dismissed without proper reasoning whatsover!

I wasn't talking about feedbacl. People post this kind of stuff usually in open topic / backstage.

It's like the Death mercenary issue. You guys don't have any right to control other users' online activities yet hostile said he'd punish us if we kept it up at their forums. Now, I know that I seemed to support him, but I didn't. He told me to tell everyone else to stop. I guess he thought that people would have more respect for someone lower in rank. Why? Because I'm not some power hungry fool who wants to control everything.

Damn, It reminds me of the Penisland issue. There was nothing wrong with it and certain upper level staff decided to jump down Koma's throat. It happens time and time again that we don't have any say in anything that happens here. Without us, revora would be nothing and I'll be damned if our suggestions and requests and complaints get ignored.
