This is my damsel.
As with the majority of the hostage holding community within this particular field, I prefer to go with the favourite, locking-at-the-top-of-impenetrable-fortess-tower-guarded-by-enormous-fire-breathing-beasty-technique
It may sound a bit cliched, but when it comes down to it, is there ever a more suitable technique? Ok, so it can be a little on the pricey side, to feed Boris (the dragon), but then if it's a really good damsel, then you'll be getting that sorted with the sheer number of 'vallant heroes' who decide to come to the rescue, and inadvertantly feed your beasty for you , providing hours of endless entertainment.
When it comes to the keeping of your damsel, I find it hard to believe the sheer quantity of those who fail to treat their damsels correctly. Just like an prisoner of war, or similar such captive, a damsel is entitled to four hots and cot, as well as red cross visits. One's damsel should be kept in pristine condition at all times, as well as in comfort. Don't forget to provide them with entertainment in those long evening hours too!
Be warned of slightly less heroic, slightly smarter rescuers acting under the guise of red cross representative or travelling crossword book salesman. It happens ;)2

Corrupt program now requires constant reboots and does not function at all in majority of instances. Designed with a web browser component to replace AOL, it has exceeded our expectations by being more crashy and unreliable and with worse tech support. We didn't think it was physically possible! A general product recall is advised; when it does function it seems to require background processes Girl 0.1Beta to stave off further crashes. Will someone PLEASE remove that code, and insert Backbone 1.9 in its place? That's assuming we even bother to continue this prog.
