anyone got any recommendations/links for a FREE ( not h4x etc ) virus scanner program ?

AVG is the best free one. NOD32 is the best if your willing to pay.
I agree, If you want to pay go with NOD32.

I use Windows Firewall. Its yet to fail me, but no way I'm gonna recomend it
