That's not at all what the idea of wormholes is about. Space/Time is a fabric, the idea is instead of traveling across it we could pull the fabric together, and literally jump from one point in Space/Time to another point.

actuly deep space is not that difficult to negotiate, ships can be fitted with a small magnetic generator, acting like earths magnetic shield, just remeber that your protecting a much smaller object than the earth so you don't need anything nearly as powerful. (quite a simple idea really already being used I read lol)

Also the idea of not being able to go faster than the speed of light is not intarly true, you could travel faster than light but time would stop in essence, if you went much faster than the speed of light you could keep going forever and not age a day, if you were a galaxy away and you had this tech you could travel here in a heart beat (not really not even a nanosecond) so life from other galaxys is not to far feched.

but theres a small prob of stopping lol if time as we know it stops then how will the computer stop the engines if it is frozen in time :p . A big question eh :p

but we have no idea if this is true, we only have Einstein word for it. :p

Actually according to Einstein that's not how it would play out. More like, time would go on as normal in your spaceship, but the entire galaxy would age thousands of years. Upon arrival you would essentially find yourself in the future. That's what I read at least.

ARGUMENT FROM CREATION, a.k.a. ARGUMENT FROM PERSONAL INCREDULITY (I)
(1) If evolution is false, then creationism is true, and therefore God exists.
(2) Evolution can't be true, since I lack the mental capacity to understand it; moreover, to accept its truth would cause me to be uncomfortable.
(3) Therefore, God exists.

not exactly true time would stop for you but time would go on for the universe (thats only going over the speed of light tho), what you said is for lower speeds I think tho.

(may be wrong but its a cool idea)

No no, time would stay relative. Time would go on as usual for you, but all around you time would be going on faster. No matter where you are, time is relative. If you're standing in a spaceship near a black hole, time dilation causes time to go slower than say... 30,000 LY away. Same kind of thing I assume, just different with the speed you're travelling at.

but they say when dark matter is traveling at the speed of light it is frozen in time (thats what I heard in a documentry) :p

I don't either. Relativity states that nothing can move faster than light, and that times always realitive; think of it like this.
Object A is moving 75% the speed of light © away from object B. Object G is also moving 75% away from B, but in the opposite direction. Neither object is moving is faster than C realitive to B, but realitive to each other theres 150%C between them. As neither can be moving that fast, time will be dialated. Sure someone can explain better, I have to cut this short or miss my train.
75%C 75%C
A < B > G

World Domination Status: 2.7%

Interesting to say at least. I haven't seen it with sound as I'm at school but I thought you might like to see it.

hmm, interesting perspectives on UFO's. i have to agree that there is alot of Dogma interwoven with alien spaceships and the likes. would it have been easier to get scientific research done on it if we considered UFO observations more of a thing of nature than some alien race observing us?

i'm thinking in the directions that UFO's might not be spaceships. it could be some sort of inter dimensional bad weather. a sort of overpressure in a parallel dimension that forces mass from that dimension into our own.

if quantum scientists and whatnot have looked at it in that direction it might have gone into a more constructive direction for science instead of being the modern world's superficial faith.
