I have figured out how to have the AI's target enemy stuff with their general abilities and superweapons according to the parameters I set up. BUT, it will only work as long as you, the player, are not playing the same army type that your playing against. ( i.e. USA superweapon vs USA superweapon, or China Tank vs China Tank, etc. etc,,,)
The target nearest enemy (variable) function found in the Team sub, does not seem to work; so I was wondering if you guys ever played around with the targetting of general abilities and superweapons? If you have, have you found any other way of doing it other than the command ability/target type method?
Thanks
Pete

This may just be because of an INI tag, the enums. If the enums are the same the powers won't work I've heard..
I've been using the same scripts as you have (I think I've seen it at the DEN forums) using the generic team and the <use commandbutton ability at an object> or so. I'm not sure if there is another way.....

I guess i should have just asked my question here. Thanks a lot for all your info Mithril, I really appreciate it.
I suppose it doesnt matter how many scripts are in a folder either does it? hehe cuz i had three factions written up for one general, in one folder, at the time i asked the question about the script maximum
HEHE shoot the superweapon and general powers rewrite is just one small portion of what i have done so far, and what i plan to do

Aaah I would've thought that for some unknown reason...
I don't think the number of scripts matters too significantly ingame. Other things cause the lag, like the "set to hunt" command if it is used very often. Thudo knows more about this I'll ask him when I see him..
