I heard that the model for the light tank would be a bradley. Wouldnt that be a too detailed?

If we want to be as close to TD as possible, the light tank should be a roughly cuboid shaped thing with a huge turret and a long barrel. Totally the opposite of a bradley.

It may be a bradley in the cutscenes but in the game its a simply drawn tank. REMEMBER??? ;)

This is a 320x240 game they're porting here. The units were barely a few pixels wide. In order to make good looking models they have to add more detail than the originals had.

The original tank barrels were only 1-2 pixels wide, FFS.

Whe've had a discussion about the light tank before... its not a bradley, its an Italian tank. Bit like the bradley, but not the same.

because it wasnt the light tank

i think a M551 or M60 would fit the role of a light tank well

I thought the M-60 was a Medium or Heavy Tank, while the M-550 has a gun designed for anti-tank purposes, not really what Nod's one does =/

Neither did infantry :umad:

EDIT: I looked it up, the M60 is also 15 km/h slower than the M1A1. Not much use to it ^_^ (Therefore I wonder how the M60 became RenAlert's Ltnk =/)

Bradley is an APC. Not the light tank....
While M60 is a MEDIUM tank
and EVEN Sheridan is the Light Tank, but it's look not so close to the nod one
Shat should NOD lighttank REALLY be??? the Return of the Tankette with the better Armor and Gun???

Maybe you should make sure you know what your talking about before you go around saying things. A Bradley is not an APC, it was a tank, a tank used for fighting, not for transporting personell around. If it helps, heres the most clear picture i could find of the Bradley.

yes it was, its classified as a APC to assist the Abrams, it has inferior armour to that of the Abrams (as critic said) its meant to be like a 21st century replacement for the old M60 or something.

It just has some nice firepower, a 20/25 mm chaingun (can't remember calibre) firing APDS bullets and some AT missiles.

If you want the cutscene/cameo look, the Bradley is the way to go. It is neither an APC nor a tank, but an IFV. It has a 25mm autocannon and two TOW missiles, as well as space for a six-man squad.

If you want the ingame look, I think the T-54/55 might actually be more suitable. Nod doesn't have to use US equipment exclusively, and there are many east-European countries that Nod recruit from...
