Pretty cool. Did you rig blitz or did you frame by frame moves its limbs? If so that must have been painful.

Hell no! that would be so painfull. I do know some rigging, basically I do little things like that here and there to get use to animating something.

I always like to see how the other side does it, btw what process do you use to skin your suits? I can't help but notice you do it different than me, and it interests me.
Well that is different than how I rig alright, mine is pritty simple and it works well with robots.(dosnt require deformation of any kind)
I know how to use bones too but this way is so dirt easy.

I add a skin modifier to each separate part of the mesh. Then I attach that to the bone I want it to follow. There is no deformation with mine either because I add an individual modifier for each piece instead of selecting the whole gundam and using one modifier. Then I can increase the the envolope so it catches the whole piece. I use this method cause it gives me practice for more complex models like humans and things.
I dont know if that makes any sense to you since its kinda hard to explain. Also I forgot to tell you that I hid all the bones because they just get in the way during animation but you can see them if you unhide all the objects starting with "Bip"

Ahhh! I see, yea I know about the skin modifier but I stayed away from it because It usually refers to the entire mesh. I never thought of useing it on seperate peices like that.
