Apollo, you should give all aircraft except kirov and airport bound planes the ability to deploy to land. It would make them repairable by regenerator repair vehicles.

No problem, very annoying how slow the helicopters do heal. I'm just trying to help make the mod better.

That is a good point, but it'd remove the Zephyr's unique ability :blink:

As far as I'm concerned the zephyr needs the ability to land the least.
It has a very potent autoheal from the core.

I concur. However from a defensive standpoint it was given landable ability. On that grounds, it should be noted that NEXUS no longer possesses a mobile repair vehicle.

While I share your concern and like the idea, I fear this might not only similarise the three sides on the front of the 'chopper' units (except give the FL another disadvantage since the Kirov wouldn't be landable...I must confess the Condor and to a lesser extent the Annihilator amongst others are amongst my fears on this front too), but also remove something which was specifically a NEXUS trait.

If you don't want to similarise the sides by letting them land, just don't let choppers shoot when grounded, then that would maintain itself as a NEXUS trait while still allowing AL to heal their choppers, although it makes them vunerable... :)

Good idea. Helis need to land in order to rearm as well. That is, in real life.
Give it to the kirov as well, if you're concerned.

Ah, but repair vehicles can't repair buildings (which is what the siege chooper becomes, if I'm not mistaken)

Siege chopper is same unit just not mobile, it deploys into same or different unit that is in a voxel or shp form so it is repairable :)
If people were more constructive with their comments, then this place would be more enjoyable

It's still a vehicle. Just deploys new weapon. Or in this case, none. It works out.

yah and it uses whatever secondary weapon is so in case you make it None

personally I think a grounded zephyr would have a better weapon apart from height on hill advantage

It's prolly not that you favour nexus but that the other two sides cannot be improved or else their ideologies get thrown out the window...or too great an addition to them ends up being too similar to the units of another side (f'rinstance, I kinda see this Condor as an Allied Kirov)

What'd REALLY even the odds a bit would be to make it so the Predator doesn't passive acquire. And prolly the Wraith too. :p

There was an appeal a while ago to improve the weapon on the grounds it sucked too much. Yay a machinegun...fuck-a-doodle-do. So it was given a rocket launcher and now it's the second best spam unit in the game :p
