I HAVE READ THE HOW-TO THREAD

Hey.

I’m having connection issues with C&C: KW from the EA Collection Bundle. Version is 1.02 and is running on Win7.

I’ve installed Revora and downloaded the Map Pack 1.03:1 and 1.02:1.

I’m able to log in with my Revora credentials and join game lobbies. With some players I get the “no connection” symbol (looks like the Batman logo) and with others I get the antenna with yellow waves. There is always one player with the "no connection" and it has therefore never been possible to start a game.

I’m trying to play with a friend but we both get the “no connection” symbol which restricts us from starting the game. We are able to chat in the lobby though.

I’ve tried installing the steam version of the game, but I experience the same issues.

In the thread “Common Issues & Solutions”  I’ve tried Solution 1,3,4 and 6 without luck.

http://forums.revora...sues-solutions/

My friend is able to join most games and has success with hosting as well.

Therefore the issue seems to lay with me.

Thanks in advance.

Try port forwarding UDP port 16000 in your router and then configuring that as your static port in the game's network settings.

Thanks for your reply.

It seems that the network I'm connected to at my apartment goes through a router which I can't operate. Do you know if there is a workaround on this issue?

Then you are basically at the mercy of your router handling NAT negotiation right, which doesn't seem to be the case.

Make sure you have KW allowed through the Windows (or other) Firewall just to be safe it isn't that.

That be damned. I've allowed all protocols for both KW and CnC Online through my firewall just to be sure. The problem still exits.

Is there any alternative solution here? Would VPN be an option for instance?
