I couldn't finded a program or method

I don't know how to editing .GRL image files

I how to edit .GRL files??? please help me!..

1 Download the tools, I know there are a new version, but I lost the link, anyway this version work fine for edit .GRL files:

2 extract the files, then open CommDevToolkit_20100426/Bin

 

3 Copy and paste any .GRL of the game, for example in your directory of the game/DATA/BRIEFING/BER_CARASBRIEFING.GRL the second option is use core extractor and open your DATA.PCK in your directory of the game, open DATA/BRIEFING and extract any other .GRL file

 

4 Drag your .GRL file to imageconverter.exe  and delete your .GRL file

 

5 open the new folder which will appear after do it.

 

6 Edit the image, usually Briefinghistorico, I use paint to do it.

 

7 Drag the folder to imageconverter.exe again, and the program will create a .GRL file

Now, that youre talking about grl files, want to ask if those only contains interface images, do not include sprites?? and how to modify and existing image inside, which format?, and how to compress again..

Just use the same format that you find in any .GRL file. The .GRL only contains images I think, you can follow my first post here to compress again.

For modificy a image I usually open it with pain and paste above a new one. The new image must have the same resolution (640x480). I change the size using microsof ofice Picture manager. And next, I usually write a text with the option of paint.

 

Yes, you can use any music in your mod I think.
