The program worked great, and I loved the observer chat feature. However, in-game the camera was zoomed in even further than the default settings for the game and I couldn't find a solution to zoom out anywhere. It became borderline unplayable because of this, so I decided to uninstall it and stick to gameranger because there is no solutions to the problem.

That is not correct. I assume you use a cheat that enables you more zoom out, and you are comparing GenTool with that. We don't consider cheats as "how it should be".
Gain access to CNC Online servers by using GenTool for Generals and Zero Hour.
"GenTool provides enhanced game controls and optimizations to maximize your online gaming experience. Additionally it comes with three anti cheat solutions for Generals and Zero Hour. The program is easy to install and is fully functional with C&C Generals 1.8, C&C Generals Zero Hour 1.04, Generals Deluxe Edition, The First Decade and The Ultimate Collection."

No, i don't use cheats. my camera height had been at 310, which is default with the game's original ini file. With Gentool, it's lower than that. I would have made a screenshot to show you, but I'd have to redownload Gentool again, which I'm not up for because the Uninstall exe was no where to be found, thus making it tediously time-consuming to remove.
