I'm having issues running Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3. The first time I ran it, it had an error message pop up once that read something like "CA public key patching routine failed" or something (copied and pasted from the C&C video). However, when attempting to try it again, the RE 3 logo appears for a few moments, then disappears and the game doesn't start, and the error doesn't appear again. I was thinking of purchasing the other games on Steam, even though I have the original stand alone version, but I was wanting to see if this multiplayer option worked before I did. I'm running Windows 8.1, using Steam. The temp file is in the attached files.

I just did and it worked. However when I try to login using the little star at the top right corner, it says that I can't login to backlog servers or something like that.

I'm new to this forum, but my friend has the same problem, and i am unsure how to fix it, so we can play co-op, in Red Alert 3. Tried using all the help in your "common issues" section, but to no awail. Hope someone finds a fix for this..
