Hello, Im having a little trouble logging into my account on command and conquer zero hour. It says "could not connect to C&C zero hour online"  

 

This has worked before with the account I have made but when I return a few months later it does not work anymore? 

 

What is the issue and how do I fix it?

More information please. Are you using Gentool?

As I have no idea what a Gentool is I can safely say that I am not using one as from the looks of it I would have to download it. So no I am not

Install GenTool. Then launch the game normally. You should not use the C&C:Online launcher to launch Zero Hour. Gentool does the work of that.

Does that mean I shouldn't bother installing the "C&C:Online launcher" at all, if we're only going to play "Generals: Zero Hour"? Or do we have to install both?

 

I am having either the same, or a similar problem as the original poster.

 

I just recently got everything installed. Including both Gentool, and C&C:Online launcher.

I actually just made a thread about his and asked the same question, however I could not get Gentool to open in any of my C&C Online games. Do you have to have Gentool to go online on ZH?

Indeed, you do not need (and should not bother with) the C&C:Online launcher if you are planning on playing only Generals or Zero Hour. Just install Gentool and start the game through its normal shortcut.

If you have Gentool installed, it should start automatically when you start the game and show on the loading screen.
