though real thought on the known character thing, it has to be someone who A: knows yuri B: is near the china-japan area, norio makes the most sense to me, because he 1: doesn't like how china moved into his land, 2: was at a KI site in S11, so hes likely taking tech (and given the china-japan team up, it would be very heavy-costly tech) so he could fight back the people trying to take his land, as for how he knows yuri? most likely raiding china's data mid-battle, after all just magically one day all the Chinese rebels stopped fighting so he likely wanted to know about that.

I've not been following the forums for a while, do we know who the Foehn are yet? My idea is that they are a time-travelling faction, or maybe the Chronosphere was jury-rigged by someone to bring help from an alternative timeline?
Sidebar icons for normally not buildable stuff: Yuri Prime, Space Commando, Allied Jackal (obsolete), Gravitron

It sounds weird but I think Rashidi might be involved with Foehn. Think about it: The Allies and Soviets failed to defeat Yuri. An inside force who might go rogue is Scorpion Cell, a theory supported by many people. Rashidi knew a ton about the Epsilon as he led an entire division of their forces, so his knowledge combined with the Allied and Soviet resources could prove to match Epsilon.
But here's the best part: Rashidi's mentioned to be the best machinist in Africa and arguably the world, if given the proper resources. And aren't Foehn vehicles the best when one on one?
Think about this for a moment. He has inside information, is possibly going rogue, and he has the mechanical skill to build this advanced army. Combine this with the Allied and Soviet remnants, and we may have our way made clear...

In all honesty, i'd still think Rashidi will still be working with Yuri and Epsilon. considering epsilon has all kinds of crazy, advanced mechanical weapons that where not revealed in act 1. Foehn likely is made from the combination of Allied and Soviet remnant technologies while Epsilon starts from scratch. hence Epsilon needs Rashidi and goes out of their way to keep his loyalty.

Siegfried? Because Eureka
thats a good one, and makes sense the "known character" A: need a way into KI databases and other such stuff, B: know how to leave data locked away from yuris hands

Though the description in Phantasm MRLS kind of makes it weird if the CEO of SteinsTech forgot how to build a mirage technology tank

Meh. I bet the trailer won't be out until evening in Europe, whats the point in releasing it when everybody is at work/uni/school?
Doesn't uni have off this time of the year to study for January exams? Also high school are in exams so most are done by noon. Only argument is that speeder has a job!
and here I thought speeder would have taken the day off for us :'(

I'm late to the WMG party, but here is my shot at it (don't know if it was already proposed by somebody) :
Foehn Revolt are remnant of both the Allies and the Soviets coming from a timeline where Yuri and Epsilon won the war, and went back to the past in a last-cahnce try to crush Yuri's rise to power in the egg.
