I am hyping about the fact that hints about Foehn will be all over the place in Act 2.

The storyline is what intrigues me the most about the upcoming update <3

Perhaps it is the nature of the prism weapon equipped by dolphins that makes them so ineffective :/

I tried using Swordfish against dolphin and it seems to be treated as armored unit. They die really really fast with swordfish.

Also I think dolphin supposed to be long-range detector for destroyer to take out submarines..? Other than that I don't really know, their damage seem too low to be good for anything.

Even when amassed, they die too quickly too so...

The plot thickens! Just as we guessed, Heartwork!

It seems the Chinese are divided from inside (again)

So Gharial, Mastodon, and Nanofiber seem to be Chinese inspired. So Last Bastion is successor to the Great Wall of China.

Anyone want take a guess as to what the energy thing is? Prototype Nanofiber loom?

Tempest Architect derived from Weather Controller, which seems to first exist in Stormbringer. So, VERY unlikely

Weather Control Device should really be changed to Thunderstorm Control Device, since it's not really controlling every weather, only thunderstorm.

Maybe add other randomized weather condition to it like Heat Stroke or Blizzard or Hailstorm~

At that rate, we should let the chronosphere have the ability to create chrono vortexs, just to mess with everyone :p

Don't mind me, I'm just pretty broke nowadays...

I assume that Foehn is currently the beta release as the info page is still null. Possibly a more comprehensive release with definitive adjustments will be made at a later time.
So far the hints show that, unlike Epsilon which is a direct offspring of Soviets, the Foehn is the common faction of both allies and soviets considering the latest teasers of upcoming patch and references to kanegawa institute in some unit descriptions.

And another clue on the mission front... Who want to guess which side will have a mission here?

Dance of Blood, Epsilon, you'll be defending against the Chinese. Was revealed years ago. :V

Removing that ability was a crime against humanity.

Foehn doesn't have info yet because its origins are still a mystery. When Act 2 reaches a certain point and the Origins missions are released, they will get info.

Considering how the YR mission was about russians going to the moon,i guess it would go the same way but the title might hint to the rocket that was launced to the moon on singularity coming back.

@solais I had a conversation with Alster on the chromosphere nerf. He said it was because people complained their expensive units were being instantly killed in water. :/
Honestly with that abilty gone, the chromosphere became the most expensive support weapon to use :(

Every Support Superweapon could kill originally, Chronosphere killed units, Iron Curtain killed infantry, same about Genetic Mutator.

In MO 3.0, the Rage could kill infantry too, which I guess was also nerfed/buffed in 3.3. Interestingly enough, if actually used in a battle (read: never), the Blasticade can also annihilate expensive units. So it's kinda weird to break a feature like that. Not to mention, I found it a very tactical weapon. I mean, what use the Chronosphere got now that you can't shift MADMAN into the enemy base? I don't think I seen it used much ever for its original purpose, only offensively.

Killing enemy base by warping 9 Prism Tanks, just like in RA2/YR. That was always its original purpose. :p
